The pyramids of Giza were built over 4000 years ago and still stands in Egypt.
The pyramids original colours were white and golden copper.The lime stones were white and at the top was golden copper so when the sun shines on the pyramid it looks like a suns ray.It took about 2.5 million stones to build it and each stone weighed 2-15 tones each they didn't have machines only their two hands.
The grand gallery was sealed to prevent theft.The Egyptians used granite blocks to seal the gallery and chamber.Tomb robbers would cut a hole so one person would slip through the hole and continue to cut until they reach the chamber.They would take the treasure and go.
The egyptians made the pyramid's sides face N,E,S,W.
